Sunny San Diego pt. 3

Four years ago this spring, I travelled with my high school choir group to watch the sunset on Point Loma Nazarene University’s campus. Upon driving up to the campus after a fun day of singing to the elderly, I exclaimed with excitement that PLNU was one of NINE Nazarene universities in the country! At that point I had just received my acceptance letter from Trevecca and stated proudly that I would soon attend the Nazarene school in Nashville. Little did I know I would come back to Point Loma one day as the Student Body President of TNU and I would in fact get to meet students from those nine Nazarene universities that I had so boasted about knowing years before.

It is such a blessing to be a part of this wonderful journey called “My Trevecca Story” and I thank God for everything He has provided for in it. I would never have imagined this for myself without His help and guidance. As my week in sunny San Diego wraps up, I am SO excited to get back to my home at Trevecca and say au revoir to California. Because no matter if your campus is on the beach, or your town has great food, or if everything is environmentally friendly and super cool, I belong at Trevecca with the community I love and the community that genuinely loves me back. I am “hecka for Trevecca”. See you soon.
