Welcome to TWIRP week at Trevecca. I’m not really sure what TWIRP stands for, but it’s the same idea as Sadie Hawkins. Girls are supposed to ask their man crushes out this week. Ideally, they’ll fall in love and be married in 6 months… Trevecca-style. Ring by spring, people!! I didn’t think that TWIRP-ing would catch on like it has. Some ladies have come up with some pretty creative “asking out” ideas. Last night, my entire floor chipped in to help one girl ask out her crush. Sort of corny, but also super cute, right?

Well, not everyone at Trevecca is in love with all the LOVE that is in the air. My Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram newsfeeds have been blowing up with statuses and pictures about how “love sucks” or “booo love. I just like food and cats.” So, for all of you 19 year olds who are pouting because your sophomore year is ending and you haven’t found “the one,” cats don’t have to be the only thing in your future. The girl in this video is hopeful that she can have both LOVE and kitties!! Check it out
