My mommy had a big birthday yesterday! She turned HALF A CENTURY! She and my stepdad went to Chicago for a few days last week to celebrate and they had a great time. I left Nashville this past Friday afternoon and headed to Memphis to be with her for her birthday. I got to hang out with her and my family, play games, make pancakes, go to eat Japanese hibachi for her birthday, and just be together! It was such a great weekend! I even got a little homework done! It was just a good weekend full of celebrating my favorite person! I am so thankful that God blessed me so much by giving her to me as my mom. I am thankful that she raised me right, and in the faith. She has always put God first in her life, no matter what, and exemplifies the love of Christ to everybody, everyday. I could not love her any more than I do! Here’s to another half of a century!
