LIONS, TIGERS, AND DRAGONS!?!?!?

This has been one of those weekends where I realize how blessed I am, and how undeserving I am of the great life God has given me. Not trying to get all deep and mushy on y’all, but sometimes we all just need to be emotional for a sec.

Okay, now that that’s over, it was a really really great weekend. On Friday, one of my classes was cancelled, so I got to go back to my cozy dorm and drink some hot chocolate and watch a movie, while it was cold and rainy outside. Perfect movie weather! Then I went to work for a few hours. I work about ten hours a week at Sun Tan City in Green Hills, and I love it! I love to get my tan on. (FOR FREE) I came back from work, and watched a movie with a couple girls from my hall. (Shout to to Jenna, Chels, and Hilary!) Yay for friends.

Saturday, I got to gloriously sleep in til about 11:30. Definitely needed that. Took my time getting ready and then went home to Brentwood to chill and do some homework. Caught up on my shows for the week. I had a busy week so I didn’t get to watch “Pretty Little Liars” and “The Lying Game.”  (I know, right? So wholesome….) And of course, I had to catch up on “Nashville!” Now call me biased, but it really is a greatttt show. And it displays and shows off our pretty city so well! Saturday was just a good, chill day. Family, rest, TV, being productive with homework. What else do you need??

Sunday was great as well! I got my Jesus time on at church this morning, then headed to at O’Charley’s, then to The Ringling Brother’s and Barnum and Bailey’s Circus!!!!! Yes, I’m twenty! But I do have a six year old brother (Gracin), and I am pretty sure I was just as excited as he was. I’m not a big clown person, but they definitely aren’t as scary as they were when I was Gracin’s age. I just love all the animals, and acrobats, and trapeze people, and tigers, and lions, and dragons, and puppies, and miniature horses, and ring masters, and funny things! Lions and tigers are my favorite animals, so I was most excited to see them! The theme of the circus this year was “Dragons,” so there were lots of cool fire breathing dragons! It was just a good day, with the cutest little boy in the world! Love my baby brother.

And as if the day wasn’t good enough already, I ended it with sushi with Shelbe! We are both so busy, so it’s hard for us to find to spend together, so we have to make plans weeks in advance! My fellow TreveccaLive blogger and I went to KOI Sushi, then after dinner, we headed on over to TPAC. (Tennessee Performing Arts Center) It’s close to the Capital building downtown, and we went to see the Broadway musical “Catch Me if You Can.” I had never seen the movie, so I watched it the night before the musical, and it was so good! I don’t know why they decided to make a musical out of it, but I’m glad they did! Those people are legit talented, as actors and musicians! What a good night with a great friend!

Enjoy our cute pictures! Hope your weekend was as busy, realizing, productive, and fun as mine! :)
